"How do we create a safe environment where all can freely seek, and worship without worry or distraction?"

This was the question of a local pastor who realized the importance of having "the safest, most welcoming environment possible - because every person deserves to seek Jesus without worry, distraction, or fear"... "so that they could relax in worship, encounter God and connect authentically with others".  This was beyond his ability to do by himself and understood the need of a team to help carry out this vision. 

   Safety is foundational, people can't move toward love, belonging, forgiveness or spiritual growth if they are worried about their physical wellbeing or the safety of their family.

   So, out of this vision, a Safety Team was created.  Not just "security" personnel,  but "ministers" of safety, "ambassadors" of peace and living reminders that the church (not a building) is a place where people are seen, valued and protected.  

    So, whether it be medical emergencies, health needs, or physical assistance,  even being prepared to act effectively in the event of an active threat..

   The next decision was a more difficult one.  Should members of this team be prepared to be able to address a worst case "intent to harm" scenario (which means being armed), or ignore this aspect of "firearms in church"?  Realizing firearms were going to be there regardless, (as congregants have the right to protect themselves), it was important to know if those within the team, with a "license to carry" were safe, proficient and training.  What if they were untrained and unknowingly more of a danger to themselves or other congregants?  What was discovered was that most of those that had a "license to carry" didn't practice regularly, nor had received any kind of formal training.

    Also what most of the public doesn't realize is that a "license to carry" is not an indication of any kind of proficiency, and most governing authorities don't require proficiency when they issue a carry license.  With this in mind, and the commitment to the support and training of their Team in all areas, they would pursue professional help for their team members that "carry".

    So, this leadership, knowing my decades of church ministry service abroad and within the local church, and our established reputation of safe and comprehensive firearms training, approached us, at Quantum Defense. They asked our team to facilitate the assessment and training of the members of their Safety Team that chose to "conceal carry". 

    It was their intention not only to encourage them to attend training with us but to subsidize those who were willing, to take our comprehensive 3 Day Defensive Pistol Course.  They understood that a few private lessons here and there would not be adequate to instill the mindset and skills that are critical and necessary.

    We were so impressed and moved by the support and commitment of this local Pastor to their Safety Team that we came back to them to offer training that equally showed our support and commitment to them, and any other non-profit or Church Safety Team as well...  

We have extended to any "Church Safety Team" or non-profit and their official members that are "licensed to carry" the opportunity to come and train with Quantum Defense for 50% off the normal course fee.  This extended price being $495 for our 3 Day Defensive Pistol Course. (regularly $990)

    They also understood the critical need for their Safety Team members to continue ongoing personal practice, to maintain and improve upon the skills they learned in the course.   They began looking for a local range to explore membership access.   We (Quantum Defense) were able to communicate this vision and work with a large local firearms range.  That range eagerly joined in this vision of a properly trained team and have generously opened their range to any non-profit or Church Safety Team members training with Quantum Defense, for half price, with the additional benefit of not requiring the yearly membership fee.
