Belts:
Lots of different belts, 2 common ways to go with belts to mount your holsters and magazine pouches to is:
The inexpensive route - A great 2 belt starter - “Condor LCS Gunbelt” ($35), will get you through until you decide what you really need/want. Tacticalgear.com, Amazon.
The more expensive route - 2 belt system which is much higher quality and comfort and can last virtually a lifetime. The High Speed Gear 2 belt system: Belt One is the Inner Padded, there is a variety, we suggest the “Laser Slim-Grip Slotted Padded Belt” ($130 on their website), the second part is “outer belt” - a “Riggers Belt” with cobra buckle- we suggest the “Cobra 1.75” Rigger Belt” (without the D ring) ($92). Be sure to follow their specific measurement directions for both belts or you may end up with a belt that doesn’t fit. Also pay attention to the Hook and Loop option, we suggest it even if you don't need it as it stiffens the belt more. Highspeedgear.com, Amazon.
Magazine Pouches: 3 required
Individual universal double stack magazine pouches made from kydex. Some can come as a double magazine pouch for cheaper cost but take up more space on the belt and are less versatile. We suggest “Blackhawk” Universal double stack kydex magazine pouch on Amazon. Price varies -$25ish depending on color. Less expensive versions can be found locally at Bimart- "Pitbull" ($13) and others online at Amazon.
Electronically Enhanced Hearing Protection( Required):
Too many brands available to list...
Walkers, or Howard Leight/Impact Sport over the ear muffs- $45-$60 found most everywhere. Also In-the-ear-Buds (Axil, Walkers, Caldwell,) specifically made for firearms use are becoming more popular and available. ($100+)
Electronic hearing protection is required for this course and recommended as a better option in your own personal training so you can hear Instructors directions, and be aware of what's happening around you, at all times.
